Galaxy Pegasus W105R²F (ギャラクシーペガシスW105R²F) is an Attack Type Beyblade featured in the Beyblade: Metal Masters anime and manga series. This is Gingka Hagane’s third Beyblade in the manga and his second in the anime, taking over from Storm Pegasus 105RF. It later evolves into Cosmic Pegasus F:D. Galaxy Pegasus was launched in Japan as a Starter Pack on April 1, 2010.
Parts Overview
Face Bolt – Pegasus II
The Pegasus II Face Bolt showcases the legendary winged horse, Pegasus, known in Greek mythology as a servant of Zeus and a celestial constellation. The design is an evolution of the original Pegasus I motif, now outlined in red, including stylized “P” and “S” letters with sharp, angular detailing.
Energy Ring – Pegasus II
This component is an upgraded version of the original Pegasus ring. It features larger, more defined wings that occupy a significant portion of its surface, with “P E G I” embedded—short for “Pegasis.” Pegasus II is more rounded and has a notable weight of 3.1 grams, making it one of the heaviest energy rings upon release.
Fusion Wheel – Galaxy
Galaxy continues the three-wing design of its predecessor, Storm, with wing-like blades curved to the left. Each of the three main wings is subdivided into smaller segments that rise slightly, contributing to its sleek, aerodynamic look. Although visually striking and hollow underneath to reduce weight (29.4 grams), its attack performance is limited due to overlapping wing structures that partially obscure its main impact zones.
Spin Track – Wing 105 (W105)
Wing 105 adds small fin-like extensions to the standard 105 track. These “wings” are designed to generate an upward airflow, inspired by the design of DF145, to slightly improve stamina. However, the performance difference is minimal. It does offer a slight weight increase over the standard 105, giving a small boost to defense.
Performance Tip – Right Rubber Flat (R²F)
R²F is an enhanced version of the original Rubber Flat (RF) tip. Its star-shaped base features six curved rubber ridges pointing clockwise, providing rapid, aggressive movement patterns. The added friction enhances speed but comes at the cost of reduced stamina. Beginners may find it difficult to control at first, but it becomes more manageable after some use.
